Managed security

A security team, on demand.

Offsecure provides managed security as a specialist service. Detection, monitoring, and response run on the controls you already have, or on endpoint detection we deploy and host. A security operations center keeps the watch, so the organization is not left to build that function from nothing.

Let’s get started

Managed security is an on-demand team of security specialists. They detect, monitor, and respond. The service can sit on tools the organization already runs, or Offsecure can deploy and watch endpoint detection from its own cloud. It is continuous work. It is not a one-off test.

Why it is needed

Attacks move faster than a team that was built for something else. Keeping up, answering what is already inside, and recovering from what was found late consumes the people who should be running the business.

Around the clock

The security operations center identifies, analyzes, and responds as the activity happens. The watch does not stop at the end of the business day.

Both sides of the work

The people on the service have offensive and defensive experience. That is what threat hunting and incident response are built from.

Fitted to the estate

The service is scaled to the organization in front of it, and to the security architecture already in place. Protection is not padded with tools you do not need.

How it is brought on

  • Assessment. The current posture is reviewed, and the service level is set to what this organization needs.
  • Integration. Tools already in place are brought onto the monitoring platform. Where there is no endpoint detection, it is deployed and configured, including cloud-hosted EDR.
  • Training. Staff are shown how to recognize and respond, so human error is not left as an open door.
  • Monitoring and response. The security operations center takes the watch. Detection and response run continuously.
  • Ongoing management. Compliance, updates, and the upkeep of the controls stay with the service.

What is watched

Coverage runs across the infrastructure you have, on premises and in the cloud.

Monitoring

Round-the-clock watch on critical assets. SIEM and behavioral analytics surface anomalous activity, malware, and unauthorized access. Analysts are on call to respond.

Threat hunting

The service does not wait for an alert. Hunters search logs, network traffic, and endpoint activity for the activity an automated tool would miss.

Posture

Security posture management looks for misconfigurations, weak access, and gaps against the practices and regulatory requirements this environment is held to.

Incident response

From detection through containment, remediation, and recovery. The aim is to limit the impact and return operations.

Threat hunting

Cloud

The same service extends to AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

Cloud monitoring

Visibility into the cloud accounts, including unauthorized access and abuse of APIs.

Cloud posture

Continuous checks that cloud services match the security practices and compliance standards they are supposed to meet.

Cloud hunting

A search for unusual activity in the cloud estate, not only the alerts the platform raises on its own.
